We certainly think that you deserve a well earned break, and afternoon tea sounds like just the ticket. You’ll enjoy a delightful spread of dainty finger sandwiches, delicious little cakes, and a piping hot pot of tea. Sounds pretty perfect, right? If you’re feeling fancy, you might even find yourself sipping on a glass of bubbly or a cheeky cocktail, especially if you’re in a more modern spot that likes to mix things up. But don’t worry, afternoon tea doesn’t always have to be a grand affair, and if you haven’t quite got the appetite for a full on feast, you can still enjoy the base of an afternoon tea. Order a classic cream tea or high tea, which keeps things uss-free, focusing on what really matters – freshly baked, crumbly scones. Because let’s be honest, when it comes to afternoon tea, the scones are the real stars of the show.
