If Katie Price ran her own venue, would it be Tiger Tiger? Loud, brash, in-your-face & glam in a kind of radioactive spray-tan way, the place has 100% lad appeal. A massive beast, it
incorporates various lounges, a restaurant & club bar. Wines start at around £15 & cocktails run to woo woo, ‘contemporary classic’ double monster vodka, & sex on the beach; de-rigueur
shooters, meanwhile, are a fiver. A comprehensive all-day menu features possible Come Dine With Me menu contenders: melting, creamy baked Camembert in its box, Cajun-spiced salmon steak with new
potatoes & avocado salsa, posh fish-finger sandwiches & ‘indulgent’ chocolate fudge brownie.
When an email pings into your inbox inviting you to ‘Take On The Tiger Tower’ all sorts of things spring to mind. Is it a zoo experience where there are tigers balancing on top of each other or a playdate with an extra big tiger? The last thing I thought about was food but food it was – Tiger Tiger in Haymarket has had a makeover! The challenge in this case was to try a dish from the new menu, aptly named The Tiger Tower or the one I was to take on – The Ultimate Tiger Tower.
