Richard Corrigan’s Mayfair restaurant is hosting a tutored tasting of the chef's signature dishes with accompanying wines, courtesy of natural-and-biodynamic wine specialists Les Caves de Pyrène.
Hosted by Les Caves de Pyrène’s sales and marketing director Doug Wregg, each event will kick off with a Champagne-and-canapé reception, followed by a four-course tasting menu. During the meal,
Wregg will talk guests through the wines he has chosen to complement each course. The dinner will finish with tea or coffee and petit fours.
The first event takes place on Friday 4 May. Corrigan’s dishes will celebrate the finest seasonal produce for late spring and early summer. Enjoy dishes including goats-curd croquettes with
heritage tomatoes and Kalamata olives, and poached chicken with spring vegetables. Wines will focus on the Loire region of France.
The wine-and-food pairing evenings will take place monthly and cost £120 each.
