Vivat Bacchus hosts 2012 South African Wine Festival

After a sell-out event in 2011, Vivat Bacchus gives wine aficionados something to sing about with the return of its South African Wine Festival this year.

Over the course of three evenings, visitors will be able to taste some classic and more unusual South African wines, as well as have a chat with the people that made them. Five producers will be showcasing their wines each evening – those taking part include Graham Beck, Bouchard Finlayson, Paul Cluver, Ernie Els, and Rustenberg. Independent wine merchant Swig will also be making an appearance on the final evening to pour new vintages of boutique South African wines.

What's more, Vivat Bacchus’ executive chef Fred Demary and his team will be creating bespoke five-course wine dinners to match.
