Veggie Festival at Tampopo

Tampopo is celebrating the Phuket vegetarian festival between the 14th and 22nd of October. However, this does not mean a bunch of worshipers running around barefoot across red, hot coal torturing themselves (which wasn’t unusual when the festival was initiated by the Tin miners in 1825), it means guests will have the chance to indulge in a special menu filled with the most popular vegetarian dishes from the region. For only £11.95 per person, guests get to choose between four starters and seven mains, including treats like tempura vegetables, miso soup, sansai ramen and khao pad. And even though the Tin miners did not drink alcohol during the festival, you can rest assured it doesn’t mean that you can’t.
