This Valentine’s Day, Sauterelle’s head chef Robin Gill will serve up a sophisticated yet playful six-course menu for romantically inclined diners.
To encourage maximum flirtation, Gill’s dishes are all designed for two to share. Couples can enjoy Cornish crab and home-smoked salmon presented in a ‘puff of smoke’, or confit of Aylesbury duck,
plus a sweet take-home gift courtesy of chocolatier Paul A Young.
The full Valentine’s Day menu is as follows:
Jerusalem artichoke velouté with truffle and parsley
Cornish crab and home-smoked salmon with poppadom crisps, brown crab and curried mayonnaise
Aylesbury duck with celeriac, cavolo nero, fig and pistachio
La Fromagerie cheese selection with walnut toast and quince
Lincolnshire rhubarb with ginger crunch, rhubarb and vanilla ice cream

Sauterelle’s Valentine’s Day menu costs £55 with a complimentary glass of Besserat Rosé Champagne on arrival, or £75 including wines to match each course.
