The Cinnamon Club and Cinnamon Kitchen have always led the way in flying the flag for wines that can stand up to their elegantly spiced dishes. Over four courses, the group's skilled sommelier Laurent Chaniac introduces a series of fine wines from his cellars and explains just why they work so well with executive chef Vivek Singh's food.
This year's series of wine and spice dinners will concentrate on Old World wine regions, but with a few surprises. On 10 June, Cinnamon Kitchen will see some of its dishes paired with Loire wines (£60), while on 10 July, Greek wines will be the focus of a slap-up dinner at The Cinnamon Club (£90). Later in the year, on 23 September, Les Caves des Pyrènes will co-host a wine dinner at Cinnamon Kitchen, which will showcase wines from small producers, including natural wines (£60). The series will be rounded off on 16 October at The Cinnamon Club with a dinner celebrating game season, with each course paired with a Burgundy wine (£120).
Booking in advance is recommended. For more information and to book your place, visit The Cinnamon Club's website.
