Spring has sprung and Mayfair’s oenophiles paradise, 28°-50° Maddox Street, will be hosting an exclusive wine dinner, as well as a wine masterclass – that’ll help distract you from April showers.
Taste of England wine dinner
On Thursday 21 April at 7pm, head sommelier Clement Robert will host the ‘Taste of England’ wine dinner, featuring a selection of wines matched with a three-course menu. Expect Coleridge Hill white wine and London Cru ‘SW6’ Syrah, paired with dishes such as spring lamb, burnt turnips and purple-sprouting broccoli.
45 tickets are available at £65 each – get there at 7pm for a celebratory toast in honour of the Queen’s birthday.
Garden of England wine masterclass
Two days later on Saturday 23 April at 4pm, the wine bar and kitchen will be saluting St George with a ‘Garden of England’ wine masterclass. Also lead by Clement, guests can indulge in five wines including a Sussex Albourne Pinot Noir Blush, with matching canapés.
With only 20 tickets available at £40 per person, grab a place while you can.
