What’s better than a seven-course dinner we hear you ask? How about a seven-course dinner with matching wines, all from some seriously good Australian producers? Mark Wednesday 21 September in your diary as T-Day: the Typing Room’s Lee Westcott will be teaming up with a handful of Australia’s artisan winemakers, to cook a one-off, wine-led dinner which continues the restaurant’s Line-Up series.
For the Australian edition of the Line-Up, Typing Room’s head sommelier, Fred Marti, has invited some of the most exciting winemaking talent in Australia – Mayer Wines’ Timo Mayer, Jamsheed’s Gary Mills, Indigo Wines’ Luis Gamiz and Ochota Barrels’ Taras Ochota – to talk guests through a series of new-wave Australian wines and answer any questions. The night will kick off with a welcome cocktail from the team at the Peg + Patriot bar, before seven luxurious courses for dinner.
