Ever wondered how Trappist monks produce beer? Does the idea of wagyu liver pate appeal, or donkey sausage from Sicily, perhaps? If so, head down to the Real Food Festival from 24-27 April
2008 for the ultimate educational and gastronomic experience.
Billing itself as the ‘largest farmers’ market ever’ with over 500 small food and drink producers exhibiting, the festival is a great opportunity to sample rare products, take part in workshops on
everything from cheese to caviar, and attend tutored tastings on foods you love or have always wanted to try. There will also be a cookery school where you can hone your skills, as well as a
‘chefs’ theatre’ where you can watch top chefs show off theirs.
