Koshu wine-tasting dinner at Nobu

On Friday 25 and Saturday 26 October, Nobu London will welcome Yuji Aruga, owner of boutique Japanese winery Katasnuma Jyozo, to the restaurant for an exclusive wine-tasting dinner.

Katasnuma Jyozo is one of the top producers of Koshu wine – a delicate, light-bodied style of wine made from the pink-skinned Koshu grape, which was originally introduced to Japan via the Silk Road.

During the evening, Aruga will guide diners through an eclectic selection of his wines, each paired with a dish on the specially prepared six-course menu – including turbot tiradito, sumptuous umami Chilean sea bass, and silky wagyu beef with tamari-honey sauce. These will be matched with wines including Branca Clareza, Branca Pipa and Branca.

Don’t miss this opportunity to sample what some people refer to as the Bordeaux of Japan, paired with Nobu’s exquisite food. Tickets cost £275, including all food and wine. To book your place, call the restaurant on 020 7447 4747.
