HKK’s glittering banquet for Action Against Hunger

HKK London Chinese restaurant Hakkasan dining events

If scallop noodle with yu fungus or caviar with roasted Peking duck sounds right up your street, you’ll be needing a seat at HKK’s Emperor’s Feast on Monday 16 January, which serves as both a preview of the high-end Chinese restaurant’s Chinese New Year menu and a chance to donate to Action Against Hunger.

The extravagant, 10-course menu is inspired by China’s ancient Emperor’s Imperial banquets, while the whole event seeks to raise awareness of the plight of malnourished children across the world. Therefore the main event on the night will be a charity auction, with prizes including:

  • • A patisserie class with HKK’s executive pastry chef Graham Hornigold
  • • The chance to attend a Tuesday Tasting, Hakkasan’s dedicated wine-tasting programme
  • • HKK’s Duck & Champagne menu for two people
  • • Dinner for four at Hakkasan Mayfair, dining on the signature menu with a wine tasting
  • • Umai Sushi Saturdays at Sake No Hana for four people, with an hour-long sushi-making lesson
  • • Dim Sum Sundays at Hakkasan Hanway Place for four people, including a private cocktail masterclass

The Emperor’s Feast takes place on Monday 16 January from 6.30pm. Tickets cost £200, with all proceeds going to Action Against Hunger, book via Eventbrite.co.uk.
