Grand Marnier Gourmet Dinner
The first ever Premier Grand Marnier Gourmet Dinner in London is to be held at One-O-One on 9 November. Head chef Pascal Proyart has devised a special four-course menu for the occasion, which will
also showcase four types of Grand Marnier and wines from Casa Lapostolle. A foie gras terrine and roasted langoustine canapé with balsamic truffle dressing, matched with a Grand Marnier Champagne
Cocktail, will get the evening off to an indulgent start. A first course of herbed goat's cheese with red pepper chutney, Pata Negra ham & fennel-sultana melba toast will then be matched to a
Chilean Sauvignon Blanc, while a main dish of wild sea bass with black olive tapenade, basil-crushed potato, baby artichokes and barigoule sauce will show that fish can work well with red wines
(this time a classic Merlot from Chile). To finish, a baked soft chocolate tart with cherry sorbet will be served with Cherry Marnier, while coffee will come accompanied by a Grand Marnier tasting
bridge, containing Grand Marnier Cordon Rouge, Cuvée du Centenaire and Cuvée du Cent Cinquantenaire. Sommelier Alessandro Bonuzzi and Grand Marnier's marketing and promotion manager, Pierre
Garbolino, will be on hand to talk diners through the various pairings.
