For top-notch regional food and drink in the beautiful setting of Exeter Castle, head to the Exeter Festival of South-West Food & Drink, from 29 April-1 May.
On 29 April, festival-goers can watch the Royal Wedding on big screens while they tuck into a picnic of fresh regional produce. Then it’s on to the main attractions, including the cookery theatre
(where celebrity chefs such as Lesley Waters, Mark Hix and Peter Gordon will lead demonstrations), as well as artisan food stalls and workshops.
From 6pm on Friday and Saturday night, enjoy live music and real ales, along with more tasting opportunities, at Festival After Dark.
Prices are as follows:
Day pass: £7 per adult; £1 for under-16s; free for under-5s.
3-day weekend pass (including Festival After Dark pass): £15 per person (£3 for under-16s; free for under-5s).
Festival After Dark pass only: £7 per person.
