2011 was a big year for Niamh Shields, otherwise known by her blogger pseudonym Eat Like A Girl.
The writer was voted Best Food Blogger in the 2011 Observer Food Monthly awards and named one of the top 10 food bloggers in the world by The Times. In the same year, she also published her first

On Monday 14 May, Shields will talk about her life and career to date at the Mount Street Deli, and about the inspiration behind her cookbook, from her childhood in Ireland to cooking tasty food on
a budget. Shields will be at the Mount Street Deli this month talking about this journey from passionate foodie to leading figure on the London food scene.
