Spitalfields-based Flank, part of a new group of casual food stalls at the famous market, is launching a supper club series. First up is ex Nathan Outlaw chef Tom Brown, who is soon to open his debut restaurant Cornerstone, in Hackney Wick.
On 15 February, he and Flank’s head chef Tom Griffiths will cook a four course dinner with additional snacks and a wine flight, over two sittings of 10 people a time. Acting as a preview of Brown’s upcoming restaurant, the menu will be largely fish based. Other events in the supper club series to look forward to include collaborative menus cooked by Griffiths with Gill Meller of River Cottage, and Elizabeth Allen (ex Pidgin).
