Kyoto-born chef Ichiro Kubota is hosting a series of seasonally themed cookery classes throughout the year at Mayfair's Michelin-starred Umu. Each demonstration will cover a seven-course kaiseki menu which will be matched with sake chosen by Umu's
head sommelier. Classes are from 11am-3pm and include the demonstration, followed by a meal with sake. All classes are priced at £140. Early booking is essential as places are limited – call 020
