The third annual Wild Thyme Food Festival will take place in Chipping Norton on Sunday 27 May.
The event promises more events, exhibitors and demonstrations than ever before, with more than 20 regional food producers offering samples of local smoked meats, deli products, seasonal vegetables
Bookshop Jaffe & Neale will sell hot drinks and cakes during the event, while fish shop New Wave Seafoods will man a glamorous seafood-and-Champagne bar together with Wild Thyme Restaurant.
Wild Thyme’s chef-proprietor Nick Pullen, who founded the festival, will give cookery demonstrations throughout the day, including a pasta-making masterclass. Meanwhile, food writer William Sitwell
will cook recipes alongside 2011 MasterChef finalist James Perry. There will also be food-themed activities and games for children.
The festival will run from 11am-5pm in Chipping Norton’s town hall. Tickets cost £3 (under-14s go free).
