The Regent Grand’s restaurant, Le Pressoir D’Argent, in the heart of Bordeaux is hosting the 9th edition of their Outstanding Dinners, which promises to be a memorable evening in conjunction with
Pierre Lurton of Château Cheval Blanc & Château d'Yquem on 4th March. Chef Pascal Nibaudeau has constructed a menu to match wines of the two châteaux. Roasted sea bass, fennel & candied
foie gras alongside 2000 Château Cheval Blanc Magnum, squab with truffles and 1989 Château Cheval Blanc Magnum ...plus biscuits with lemon of Persia, saffron ice cream with almond milk coupled with
a 1982 Chateau d’Yquem are expected on the tasting menu.
Apertifs will be served at 7.45pm and dinner at 8.30pm. The evening is priced at €500 per person (all inclusive). The hotel is also offering an ‘Outstanding Stay’ package which is priced at €1150
and includes an overnight stay in a deluxe room with breakfast & an airport pickup type E class alongside the Outstanding wine dinner, a private visit to Château d'Yquem & a lunch cocktail
at Château d’Arche in Sauternes.
