To celebrate its 40th birthday, The Capital is introducing a special cheese platter with whisky pairings to its restaurant and bar menu, available from 24 June.
Head barman Cesar da Silva, who was recently named a Keeper of the Quaich (a society for whisky lovers) has developed the pairings. Choose from a slice of French cheese Livarot matched with
Talisker 18 Year Old, for example, or a piece of Scottish Dunsyre Blue with Kilchoman 3 Year Old. A total of seven pairings is available.
