The Crane and Tortoise on Gray’s Inn Road is hosting a musical event to raise money for those affected by the Japan earthquake, on 17 April.
From 1-3pm, diners can witness performances by music students who were either born in Japan or have family connections with the country. Tickets cost £5 and all profits will be donated to the Japan
Society Tohoku Earthquake Relief Fund.
From 5pm, music will be provided by pianist Emiko Miura, violinist Haru Ushigusa and singer Yuka Watanabe, who will be performing both work from traditional Japanese composers as well as more
modern pieces. Admission is free, but donations to the Japan Society Tohoku Earthquake Relief Fund will be collected during the event.
