Cured meat experts Cannon & Cannon are hosting their very first British Cured Meat Festival and Awards on Sunday 27 May at Borough Market. On the day, guests will enjoy demonstrations, street food, craft beer and stalls from British meat and cheese suppliers, set to a backdrop of live music and DJs. Street food will be provided by big names including Pizza Pilgrims and Hawksmoor, while a list of organic wines has also been curated.
While the festival is taking place, awards will be given out for the best cured meats on offer. The judging line-up includes Hawksmoor’s Richard Turner, chef Jose Pizarro, cookery writer Sabrina Ghayour and Duck & Waffle’s Dan Doherty.
