Michelin-starred Belgian chef cooking up a storm at Sager + Wilde

In de Wulf is one of Belgium’s most well-known restaurants, thanks to its head chef being the youngest in the country to receive a Michelin star. This March, the restaurant’s sous chef, Alisdair Brooke-Taylor, will guest chef at Sager + Wilde, on east London’s Paradise Row.

The multi-course tasting menu will use foraged and organic ingredients from the Heuvelland area of Belgium which borders France. Brooke-Taylor’s cooking style is a fusion of European and Asian cuisines – so expect surprising combinations such as the traditional Japanese rice drink amazake flavoured with mullet, scarlet elf cap mushrooms with plum vinegar, and onion with squid ink, rose and rocket.
