Banfi Night at The Three Bridges

The Three Bridges

There’s one last dinner event at The Three Bridges before it closes from 7 August to 30 September for its holidays. This five-course ‘Banfi Night’– sponsored in part by Vinum Wine Merchant – will present guests with Tuscan cuisine paired with five wines. Taste the likes of a Tuscan crouton with salami and Pecorino cheese, and a ricotta semifreddo. Wine enthusiasts will be able to direct their questions to a spokesperson from the Banfi estate, while staff from Vinum will be on hand to guide diners through each of the wines, which range from a traditional Chianti to more modern blends of Sangiovese with Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot.

The menu:

Chardonnay/Sauvignon blanc blend

Tuscan crouton with Finocchiona salami (flavoured with fennel, cracked black pepper, and a touch of curry) and Pecorino cheese
Rose blend of Sangiovese with Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot

Garfugnana spelt with black truffle scented tiger prawns
Centine Rosso, a new wave wine of Tuscany that blends Italian style Sangiovese with international style Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot

Braised Argentinian beef with red centine reduction and vegetables
Chianti Classico DOCG Riserva

Ricotta cheese semifreddo with candied fruit
Sparkling red dessert wine
