For a one-off afternoon tea on Thursday 21 January, The Promenade at The Dorchester hotel in Mayfair will transform into a fashion show reminiscent of a red-carpet awards evening.
Put on to celebrate the hotel’s partnership with the Orange British Academy Film Awards, expect glammed-up models – kitted-out in evening wear by Escada, jewellery by Asprey, make-up by Lancôme
national make-up artist Benjamin Rousseau, and hair by Charles Worthington – strutting their stuff along The Promenade as you sup your tea.
Guests taking a table will be given a copy of the BAFTA nomination announcement made that morning and a goody bag including items by Charles Worthington, Evian, Hotel Chocolat and an award-winning
Lancôme Hypnôse mascara. Afternoon tea will consist of a glass of Taittinger Champagne (the official Champagne of BAFTA), savoury finger sandwiches, homemade scones and a selection of pastries.
The Dorchester will also enter all BAFTA afternoon tea guests into a prize draw for one lucky recipient to win the official gift bag which is given to all nominees.
The BAFTA afternoon tea will be served in The Promenade at The Dorchester on 21 January at two sittings, 2.15pm and 4.45pm, and is priced at £48 including a glass of Champagne. To book, call 020
7629 8888 or email.
