Californian winemaker Peter Franus will be showcasing a selection of his Napa Valley wines at Ransome’s Dock on Monday 28 November. Famous for his Zinfandels, Peter also makes a terrific Albariño
and a well-respected Merlot, which he will present at the dinner.
The evening will begin with a reception where Serrano-ham croquetas and glasses of Franus’ 2009 Albariño will be served. Guests will then sit down to a four-course meal with wine pairings; the menu
will run as follows:

2009 Sauvignon Blanc, Stewart & Truchard Vineyards, Carneros
Chez Panisse-style Zinfandel-braised duck leg with wet polenta
2007 Zinfandel, Brandlin Vineyard, Mount Veeder
