Herefordshire country house Dewsall has become so celebrated locally for its supper clubs that they have morphed into dinner parties, with guests returning to the stately home as friends do. That’s why for 2015-16, the kitchen team has relaunched the events as bona fide dinner parties, with a different top chef taking to the stoves for each, serving a four-course menu in an intimate environment.
On October 31, it’s the turn of TV chef Valentine Warner to bring his seasonal cooking approach to a special dinner celebrating Halloween. Next year, two cookbook authors will host the event: on February 13, Sabrina Ghayour will serve a menu with a Persian flavour, while on March 31, Cook in Boots author Ravinder Bhogal will host the dinner party.
