Foodies Festival is touring the country until 29 August. Next stop is London’s Battersea Park, from 29-31 July – and Square Meal readers can get two tickets for the price of one.
During the festival, Michelin-starred chefs such as Angela Hartnett will give cooking demonstrations and hold book signings. For a more hands-on approach, head to Foodies Festival’s pop-up kitchen
and have a go at chocolate-tasting, food-and-wine matching, or cocktail mixing.
As usual, some of the country’s top restaurants will be offering tasters of signature dishes. Visitors will also be able to sample food from speciality producers and local exhibitors: curiosities
on display will include whoopie pies and ‘cake pops’, while Hendrick’s gin will showcase a levitating cake and a bath filled with gin and rose petals.
There will be plenty of activities and masterclasses to entertain the kids, plus live jazz and reggae bands.
A one-day pass to the event costs £15, while a three-day pass costs £25. To get your two-for-one tickets, book online and quote booking code
