Following on from the success of the recent Importance of Being Earnest afternoon tea, Hotel Café Royal have launched a new London High Society afternoon tea menu. Executive Chef Andrew Turner and Executive Pastry Chef Andrew Blas, have created a delicious afternoon tea comprising of traditional yet surprising dishes such as wild boar, crackling, pickled apple and mustard bun; Mary Rose prawn cocktail; and Strawberry Rose “Regent”.
Relive a golden era and enjoy this decadent English tradition in the spectacular surroundings of the Oscar Wilde Bar, the very room that Oscar Wilde himself frequented daily and where great minds came together to discuss great ideas. This iconic room has been restored to its original Louis XVI detailing and is also the place to enjoy Champagne, cocktails and a light menu, complemented by live entertainment on select evenings.
Sittings for Afternoon Tea take place Monday to Sunday at 12pm, 1pm, 2pm, 3pm & 4pm. Booking in advance is highly recommended.
