For those not in the know, Wing Fest is the world's largest and most popular chicken wing festival, popping up in cities across the UK from July to October 2025. Now in its eleventh year, Wing Fest’s London location - the London Stadium in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park - will be serving up a whopping 500,000 chicken wings from various street food names, barbecue joints, pop-ups and restaurants from across the UK.
Included with your ticket is a Wing Fest signature trucker hat, live music and entertainment, and access to fairground rides, games, BBQ demonstrations, arcades and eating competitions. Plus, Japan’s legendary wing master, Taro Noguchi, is flying in especially for lucky VIP ticket holders, serving up his world-famous wings exclusively in the VIP area.
You can expect to see several top traders such as Fowl, Bone Daddies, and Bad Boy Wings, alongside The Korean Cowgirl, Jack Blumenthal’s Ginger Wings, Wingmans, and many more. In total, nearly 60 independent traders and restaurants will be battling it out, competing for awards like ‘Best Buffalo Wing’, ‘Best BBQ Wing’ and ‘Best Wild Wing’ - the official UK chicken wing awards.

For Wing Fest 2025, the judging panel includes Michelin star chef Andy Benyon of Behind in Hackney, alongside ‘chef to watch’ Natty Can Cook, chef and TV host Judy Joo, and US comedian and self-confessed wing fanatic Tim Shropshire. Ticket holders can also cast votes in real time across all three categories, as part of the Wing Fest People’s Choice Awards.
As far as entertainment goes, festival goers can expect a number of wing-based eating challenges, from the hottest ‘Lava Wing Challenge’ to the ‘Flying Goose Wing Eating Competition’, which sees wing-eating hopefuls race to devour the most wings in record time. Be sure to sign yourself up if you think you've got what it takes!

But it's not just about the wings - you can expect ice-cold beers from Beavertown Brewery, and a selection of sauces courtesy of the Flying Goose Brand, perfect for dipping. Plus, there’s entertainment for all the family covering classic fairground rides and arcade games, alongside live music, axe throwing, and bourbon masterclasses.
The festival was founded by wing enthusiast Richard Thacker, who comes from a long line of chicken farmers and has spent time as a street food trader. He launched Wing Fest as a way to showcase independent sellers and businesses from across the country.
