The trio behind Fallow and Roe has acquired the OXO Tower Restaurants, adding one of London's most recognisable dining destinations to their growing collection of restaurants. James Robson, Jack Croft and Will Murray have bought the eighth-floor site from Harvey Nichols, which has operated the restaurants since they first opened back in 1996.
The acquisition comes shortly after the sale of Harvey Nichols to Frasers Group, owned by Mike Ashley, although the OXO Tower Restaurants were excluded from that wider deal. The group will take over both the OXO Tower Restaurant and Brasserie, which sit on the top floor of the iconic South Bank landmark, boasting some of the best views across the capital and one of London's finest terraces.
Robson, Croft and Murray have slowly built their hospitality group over the past eight years, first launching Fallow as a pop-up before establishing its permanent St James' site in 2021. This was followed by 'beak-to-feet' chicken restaurant Fowl, which launched in 2023, and Canary Wharf titan Roe, which opened its doors in 2024. Fallow and Roe are regulars in SquareMeal’s Top 100 Restaurant Awards, both securing a spot on the 2026 London list.
What will happen to the OXO Tower Restaurants?
It seems there will be no major changes any time soon. The group has stated that the project is a 'work in progress' rather than a complete relaunch. The initial focus will be on supporting the current team, with gradual changes to the operation planned from 2027 onwards.

OXO Tower currently includes a fine dining restaurant, alongside a more casual brasserie and bar.
Fallow owner James Robson said: ‘We could not resist this gem of an art deco landmark. The 8th floor views are world famous, and we look forward to working with the incumbent team and landlord to bring some additional character and energy back to this wonderful site.
‘Initially we will look to empower the current team and then patiently tweak and give some love back to the operation from 2027 and beyond.
‘This will be a work in progress and I’m excited to see how our various media and culinary teams can help bring this beloved site to full potential. We’re looking forward to working with the social enterprise landlord which sits harmoniously with our core values and B Corp standards.’
