Cult pizza favourite Vincenzo’s brings a slice of New York to East London, with the arrival of its slice shop on Bethnal Green Road. Founded by Tom Vincent in 2022, Vincenzo’s made waves with its crispy, thin-crust whole pies in Bushey, Hertfordshire. Now, the brand is evolving with a fast-paced, grab-and-go concept inspired by NYC’s late-night slice culture.
The Shoreditch outpost is all about generous 20” pies sliced to order, served from 5pm until late. Expect classics like Margherita, Tomato, and Pepperoni alongside inventive newcomers such as Spanakopita, Vodka Sauce, and Burrata. Slices start at just £5, and diners can customise with indulgent extras like hot honey, burrata, and fresh pesto. Whole 16” pies are also available for takeaway, with a simple selection of soft drinks rounding out the menu.
Ingredients are key to Vincenzo’s ethos: dough is made with flour from Molino Casillo in Puglia, sauce from San Marzano tomatoes, and cheese from Latteria Sorrentina - all chosen for flavour and authenticity.
The interiors channel the nostalgic charm of New York slice bars with a distinctly East London twist. A Victorian shopfront opens into a warm, characterful space featuring mahogany panelling, green-and-white mosaic marble floors, and Levento Rosso countertops. Mid-century artworks and vintage photography add polish and personality, while limited seating caters to those who prefer to dine in.
Founder Tom Vincent’s passion for pizza was born in a backyard brick oven and shaped by travels through New York and Naples. Vincenzo’s Slice Shop is the next chapter in his journey - a taste-first, experience-led space built for Londoners, with community at its heart.
