Let us introduce you to La SPOT, a charming, picture-perfect restaurant in Fitzrovia that has a simple mission. Three founders opened La SPOT with a shared obsession, to create delicious brioche sandwiches, shareable tapas and beautiful wines. Rather than brioche being just a side that everyone forgets about, it's the star of the show at La SPOT, described as soft, golden, buttery, and irresistibly light, the La Spot brioche is crafted to balance rich flavours and bold textures. La SPOT is the kind of restaurant where people flock to enjoy first dates, share bites and bond with strangers, and immerse themselves in an atmosphere that feels effortless.
Start off with the jamón platter served with crispy breadsticks, wild sea bass carpaccio with balsamic olive oil pearls, and padrón peppers with Maldon salt and manchego cheese. Other small plates include patatas cheddar and jamón, white truffle aioli and cheese, or the traditional brava sauce with paprika. Healthier options include delicious salads, stuffed with the likes of burrata with beef tomato and romano peppers, or the crab salad with potato, egg, carrots, togarashi mayo and royal crab. The restaurant's show-stopping brioches come in many forms. The chef's choice is filled with pulled oxtail, red wine sauce, cheddar, black pepper and wild rocket, but you'll also find options of chicken curry, red prawns, sauteed vegetables with green apple and slow-cooked octopus brioche, and a vegan special.
Some of La SPOT’s favourite cocktails include a classic Sangria, the Lychee Sour, and Pear-Fect, with gin, pear purée, cinnamon and bitter zest. Last but not least, enjoy deep-fried Spanish churros with black and white chocolate chips.
