The Hoxton has officially launched its first Scotland hotel with the opening of a brand-new site in Edinburgh’s Haymarket. Opened in June 2025, the property spans 11 interconnected Georgian townhouses - split across either side of the street - transformed into 214 rooms, a trattoria-style Italian restaurant, and a suite of state-of-the-art events spaces for meetings, events and celebrations.
The jewel in its crown is a grand ballroom-style space called ‘The Get Together’, which covers 300 sqm and includes a private bar and stage area. The room can be split into two smaller spaces thanks to flexible concertina doors, or booked in its entirety for 250 guests, and is expected to be used for weddings and live music performances. Key features include tiled black and white walls, a recessed fireplace, a large skylight and striking globe pendant lights.
Interiors throughout the property are designed by AIME Studios with the aim of preserving the hotel's original features and paying homage to its Georgian-influenced architecture.

Private dining in The Apartment
For slightly smaller events, The Hoxton Edinburgh’s main events space ‘The Apartment’ features four private rooms for everything from presentations to parties, press days and private dinners. The four rooms - the Dining Room, Library, Living Room and Drawing Room - are all equipped with AV equipment and can be booked separately or together. The Apartment also houses an open pantry and kitchen which can be transformed into a bar in the evening.
And for event planners who want to offer their guests somewhere to rest their head at the end of the night, the 64-bedroom townhouse across the road can be exclusively booked for overnight guests at larger events.

A classic Italian trattoria: Patatino
The Hoxton Edinburgh has also just launched Patatino, a trattoria-style restaurant that aims to bring the energy of the Amalfi coast to the Scottish capital. Interiors channel plenty of theatrical flair, with mirror motifs, a Baroque-style fountain and banquette seating, while all-day menus cater for breakfasts, celebratory lunches and relaxed dinners. Think classic Italian antipasti, house made pastas, sourdough pizzas and indulgent desserts.
