Celebrate the French tradition of Epiphany with our Galette des Rois Workshop!

A pastry that brings family and friends together around the table every January. This golden puff pastry cake, filled with a rich almond frangipane, hides a surprise fève inside, and is crowned with a paper king’s crown for the lucky winner who finds it.

In this workshop, our bakers will guide you through every step: from mastering the art of flaky puff pastry, to preparing the creamy frangipane filling, to assembling and baking your very own galette. Along the way, you’ll learn the history of this festive dessert and the traditions that make it such a beloved part of French culture.

The Swan New Year's Eve Celebration - Adult Only

See in the New Year with an unforgettable evening at The Swan before joining the estate-wide celebration in the Tithe Barn.

From 7:00pm, enjoy a specially created three-course New Year's Eve menu, showcasing the best seasonal ingredients, in the cosy surroundings of our country pub. Guests are invited to dress for the occasion and settle in for an evening of exceptional food, great company and festive atmosphere.

This New Year's Eve, we're bringing a little glamour to St Michael's Manor Hotel with our New Year's Eve Casino Gala Night.

Join us for an evening that begins around the table, with an indulgent eight-course tasting menu created especially for the occasion and live entertainment accompanying you throughout dinner.

Once the final course has been served, the evening changes pace. Our DJ takes over, you can head over to the casino area and the celebrations continue as we count down together to midnight and welcome 2027 at the Manor.

Dress up for a gala night, gather your favourite people and make a proper night of the last evening of the year.

We are hosting a fitting evening of indulgence in the St Alban Suite. Expect to be treated to a gourmet banquet, party atmosphere and live band to get everyone into a celebratory mood to welcome in 2027.

Dinner starts at 8:00pm, where you will receive half a bottle of sommelier-paired wine with your meal.
