As summer draws to a close and the evenings become cooler, our popular Friday BBQs make way for cosy nights in the warmth of our fire lit barn. Join us every Friday from 6pm for live music, hearty seasonal food and a laid-back atmosphere that's perfect for easing into the weekend.

Our Friday menu will feature house made pies, with fillings that change regularly to showcase the best of the season and give you a reason to come back each week. Doors open at 6pm. We advise arrival by 7pm, with music finishing at 9pm.

For our first month, we'll be serving a choice of:
Knepp beef & red wine pie
Market Garden leek & Hafod Cheddar pieBoth served in a rich jus with potatoes tossed with Market Garden herbs, steamed carrots with sumac, and seasonal Market Garden greens. A vegan option will change weekly.

Space is limited, so book early to avoid disappointment. Please note, we are unable to accept gift vouchers for this event.

Taste some of the most popular dishes from our menus, to help you make the perfect choice for your wedding day. You will not go home hungry!

The Tasting Experience is ideal for couples who have booked their wedding at Ashton Lodge, couples who would like to experience an event at Ashton Lodge before booking their wedding, or those couples who’ve hosted their wedding in the past, and would like to revisit happy memories. Everyone is welcome whether it’s friends, family or just fancy treating yourself.

Booking is essential because places are limited and payments are non-refundable.

Winter at Madam Lola's is not your traditional Christmas party, thank god. From early November our winter shows run every Thursday, Friday and Saturday beneath the copper dome of Brighton's most beautiful madhouse: a deliciously debaucherous night of cabaret, circus, burlesque, drag, live vocals and aerial artistry that refuses to stay on the stage. Our performers move through the room, the cocktails flow, and the line between audience and act slowly, gloriously disappears. No two nights are ever the same.

Velvet booths, elevated cocktails, full table service, and a licence until 2am, because the show ending is not the same thing as the night ending.

Thoughout December - New for 2026. A proper Christmas lunch, taken slowly, at either house. No countdown, no turnaround, no rush back to the office unless you want one. Three courses with all the trimmings, plus a vegetarian and a vegan menu.

Tickets are now available for a shared Christmas Party Night on Wednesday 2nd  December 2026.

This event brings together other similar groups to share an exclusive festive party experience once the doors have been closed to the visitors that day. Bookings are made on a per table basis, with a maximum of 12 per table.

EXPERIENCE
Guests will initially arrive into the Studio Tour Lobby for a prosecco and canapés reception. From there, guests are invited to move through a short cinematic experience to the foot of the Great Hall doors. Upon opening the doors, guests will be revealed into the magnificent Great Hall which will be dressed for Christmas with spectacular Christmas trees along with the original tables, set for a festive feast with Christmas crackers in each of the Hogwarts house colours. Guests will then be seated for a delicious two-course festive dinner.

After the dinner, guests will depart the Great Hall and take the remainder of the tour marvelling at the sets, props and costumes whilst enjoying festive themed dessert canapés and further drinks. They will have the opportunity to ‘fly’ a broomstick, walk along Platform 9 ¾, where they will find the original Hogwarts Express train, and enjoy a famous Butterbeer in the Backlot! Guests will then move through the final Studio Tour sets before returning under the dragon for dancing underneath our 64ft Ukrainian Ironbelly with further drinks available.

This event is for 18 and over only.
