Great 'classy' gastro pub
Good atmosphere, décor, comfortable, welcoming. Good menu, not exceptional but delivers. On arrival I was made to feel very welcome and expected (I had reserved through Square Meal). We had salt squid to start - enough to share between 2. It was crisp, tasty, not greasy at all, very good indeed. Then just salads, nothing exceptional but good. Attentive service, correct pricing. What's not to like. It was not my first visit and certainly not my last. If you want a casual meal in the area I cant think of a better place!

Company Christmas Diiner
We had our Christmas dinner at The Pantechnicon which is also our favourite spot for a spontaneous office lunch. Our party of 27 had the entire first floor room to ourselves. It was beautifully set up with the fire place on creating a very lovely, relaxing atmosphere. As expected the food was absolutely delicious (the fried squid was especially popular). The hospitality was outstanding with Emmett, Kasha & Gary being attentive and taking great care of us all evening.
We all had a fantastic evening and I can only praise the professionalism of everyone involved. The organization was spot on with Marine & Beth taking a huge load of the organizers' shoulders.
Thank you ever so much for everyone involved in making our Christmas dinner such a success!

Client Christmas Group Luncheon
Arranged a Client Christmas Group Luncheon at The Pantechnicon in their private dining room for my team. They came back with great reviews, they said the atmosphere, service and food was perfect and that they will definetly be using this venue again for further functions.

WOW!
I had a wonderful visit to London. The highlight of my trip, as far as dining goes, was the Pantechnicon. The atmosphere was warm and cozy, the staff was attentive and genuinely friendly, and the food and drink was out of this world! I can't say enough wonderful things about this place. After visiting several mediocre establishments, this one knocked it out of the park and ended our visit on a high note—well, more like a satisfied, slightly tipsy, and blissfully happy note.

I booked this venue for a small team event in The Loft space upstairs. The whole team were very impressed with the quality of the canapés which were excellent and served in good proportions by attentive and smiling staff. We will definitely consider using this venue again and will be popping in to sample one of the Sunday Roasts in the future.

My Partner and I had a short time (2weeks) to organise a reception following our Civil Partnership in February
We needed a venue that could accommodate 30 for lunch and then allow us to stay on through the evening
The Pantechnicon was a perfect venue for us and all the staff were very helpful and supportive We would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a high quality relaxed venue

I had organsised a private room for my managers & the feedback from them all was very positive – great food – great service & great venue. I found all the staff extremely helpful while organising & even at the 11th hour when we increased the numbers they accomodated us. My manager was so pleased that we have agreed to host the next private dinner there.

After being closed for refurbishment for a couple of weeks, we, the "locals', were keen to see the new pantechnicon. Love the refurb – much more cosy than before – helped by the fact that one does share elbows with neighbours – all of whom are charming! Espresso Martini as good as ever, fillet steak as good as ever, frites absolutely shockingly bad – have the mash! Great staff – very chatty – very southern hemisphere. Overall, continues to be a good slightly pricey trendy pub – but what can you expect for the location!

Highly recommend The Pantechnicon(part of The Cubbit House Group)if you want value for money. The service is excellent as well as the food and the atmosphere. My managers have dined in both the private rooms and the main restaurant and have said every time that it is a great venue for both business or personal events.

I have eaten here for lunch and dinner at least a dozen times and it never disappoints. The portions can be a bit on the small side but then it is nice to have room for pudding and not feel like you are to full at the end. Prices are reasonable, atmosphere buzzy and light and the service attentive most of the time. It is the kind of place that is fun to hang out at and also to have an informal business meal. It is part of the Thomas Cubitt Group of pubs and I have never been disappointed by any of them having eaten at all. In my opinion, they have gotten gastro chain pub dining down to an art.
