Call The Jam Tree Clapham to make a booking on:
Already well-established in Chelsea and Kensington, The Jam Tree has brought its lively mix of quirky, vintage-style interiors and British colonial food to Clapham. Occupying what was Grafton
House, the revamped space features JT’s signature touches – battered chesterfields, globe lights, hammered tin ceilings and colourful jam-jar pop art. The kitchen takes its inspiration from Clapham
and Brixton’s multicultural mix, with the likes of Caribbean curried goat, Malaysian battered sticky squid and ‘voodoo’ doughnuts offered, plus contemporary British ideas such as pan-fried John
Dory with potato terrine, sea beets, pressed pork belly and cucumber salsa. Drinks also cover a lot of ground, from world beers and 20 wines by the glass to fruity cocktails including black
moonshine (Disaronno, Sailor Jerry’s spiced rum and cloudy apple juice with a spoonful of blackcurrant jam).
