Seasons is a rustic-chic seafood bistro found in Kensington. The restaurant is part of the global Seasons group, which currently operates a handful of sites around the capital (Mayfair, Fitzrovia, Notting Hill, Bayswater, Chelsea) as well as international outposts in Miami and New York.
The dining room at Seasons Kensington has a warm, welcoming feel, complete with exposed brick, shelves stocked with wine bottles and tables topped with candles. The restaurant also benefits from plenty of natural light during the day, thanks to large windows and bi-folding doors at the front, which in fine weather open out onto an intimate streetside terrace.
Seasons menu is a celebration of all things fish and seafood, offering everything from oysters and sashimi through to a market display of fresh fish which you can choose to take home with you or eat at the restaurant, cooked your preferred way. Seasons Kensington is open for both lunch and dinner most days of the week, as well as for brunch on Sundays, between 11am-4pm.
If dining from the a la carte, you can begin your meal with starting dishes such as burrata with heirloom tomatoes and beetroot or a Seasons charcuterie board, consisting of a selection of cured fish fillets, served alongside pickles and cheese. For your main course, choose between the likes of grilled fresh sea bass filets marinated in taghazout spice, or fresh egg ravioli stuffed with baked pumpkin, parmesan and thyme, and drizzled with a crab sauce. Vegetarian diners meanwhile, can delight in mushroom fettuccine or spaghetti al pomodoro.
Seasons also offers raw dishes via its raw fish bar (oysters, salmon tartare etc.), while those with larger appetites can try out the seafood-themed burgers. To finish up, dig into sweet treats such as baked cheesecake or sip on one of Seasons signature cocktails instead.
