M&S Halloween food range: Percy and Colin get spook-tastic makeovers

As summer is turning into autumn, the public are clearly becoming excited for the autumnal experience. As a result, M&S has experienced an unprecedented surge in searches for Halloween on its website. Being a company that aims to participate and serve the nation’s zeitgeist, the supermarket has made plans to bring its special Halloween styled Colin the Caterpillar and Percy the Pig forward to meet this demand.

Percy has been reanimated as a zombie, his trousers have picked up a greenish colour (presumably from ‘moss’) and his eyes and ears have gone a greenish hue, giving the chocolate pig the appearance of a scary, smiling, trotting-dead. Zombie Percy Pig will be available from 29 September but is available to pre-order now as part of a Halloween Percy the Pig themed gift set.

Colin has got all dressed up for a Halloween party, donning a skeletal mask, covering himself in bones and ‘Dia de los Muertos’ style flowers. A rather appropriate look considering Colin is very much used to being centre stage of the party, now he can take up his mantle at Halloween parties as well as birthday parties. Spooky Festival Colin the Caterpillar will be available at a later date than Percy’s scary iteration on 12 October, however, like with Percy he is available now to pre-order as part of a Colin the Caterpillar Halloween Gift Bag

So, if you are among the section of the public that is driving up search activity on the M&S website in the hopes of exercising your excitement over the festivities to come, why not take a look at these early releases from M&S? Even if you aren’t, who doesn’t love a bit of Halloween? You might as well have a browse at the whole range of Halloween themed products M&S have on its website, available for pre-order and purchase now.
