Christmas is obviously the most magical time of the year, but the festive season also means cold temperatures, strong winds and more than likely some showers of rain. How do you combat the cold and stay warm and cosy? With Christmas coffees and other hot drinks of course. If you’re wondering when you can get your hands on Starbucks Christmas menu for 2021, wonder no more – we’ve got all the details on it.
Nothing signals the start of the festive season more than Starbucks’ smooth transition from pumpkin-spiced latte (to which we must wave, sadly, goodbye) to hot drinks flavoured with cinnamon, gingerbread and eggnog. There is a strong collection of limited-edition lattes to choose from this year including two sparkling new ones. Ah, the thrill! But don’t panic, because plenty of the stores' signature lattes are still available to buy this season so you don’t have to miss out on your favourite festive pick-me-up.
If coffee isn’t really your thing, then stay tuned for Starbucks’ range of indulgent hot chocolates designed to warm your cockles and line your arteries – yes, they’re fabulously rich and worth every sip. Topped with whipped cream and a selection of dreamy sauces and sprinkles, you might want to leave a bit of extra room for one of the chocolatey hot drinks.
Finally, the news you've really been waiting for: are Starbucks' famous red cups returning for another year of festive fun? They sure are, and still with their Christmassy colour-changing feature that makes the cups so magical. Not sure what we're talking about? Keep on scrolling.
When does the Starbucks Christmas menu launch?
Starbucks’ Christmas menu is available from Thursday 4 November 2021. Expect plenty of warm and cosy treats to see you through winter, including two new additions to its hot chocolate and latte range.
What drinks are on the Starbucks Christmas menu?
Alongside plenty of returning festive favourites, Starbucks has introduced two brand new Christmas drinks options: a Caramel Waffle Latte and Chocolate Fudge Brownie Hot Chocolate. The former has been described by the store as a combination of signature espresso, steamed milk, winter waffle sauce and a stroopwafel-flavoured Caramel Waffle crunch. If that isn't quite sweet enough, the drink will be topped off with a caramel whipped cream topping - because why not?
The Chocolate Fudge Brownie Hot Chocolate is just as outrageous, which sees a mocha swirled with a biscuit sauce and steamed milk, then topped off with mocha whipped cream, mocha drizzle and a fudge sprinkle topping. It’s not a drink to be messed with.
Customers can also purchase its signature Toffee Nut Latte, Eggnog Latte and Gingerbread Latte which have all returned to please the crowds.
How much are the Christmas drinks at Starbucks?
Starbucks' festive coffees and hot chocolates start at £3.45 for a tall. Prices may vary depending on location.
Will the famous Starbucks red cups be back for Christmas?
Yes, Starbuck’s famous red cups are back with a bang this season with customers still able to purchase its colour-changing red cups. Using heat-sensitive technology, the cups transform from green to red when filled with your choice of hot drink. It’s pretty cool.
It’s worth bringing in your own reusable cup if you can, though, with the store offering 25p off your beverage to help encourage less waste.
