M&S Christmas food 2026: All the details about products, food to order and more

Marks & Spencer’s Christmas food range is one of the most anticipated launches of the year, with fans eager to snap up limited-edition treats before they sell out. The much-loved supermarket is well-known for creating innovative products when it comes to seasonal specials, and as ever, our hopes are high for the 2026 Christmas range.

Every single year, the luxury supermarket delivers, offering up a decadent seafood selection, striking starters, indulgent mains and easy-cook turkeys, all rounded off with showstopping desserts. If the previous year is anything to go by, pre-order slots will open soon, so you can secure your spread well ahead of Christmas Day. Just get in there sharpish once they do; depending on your area, those slots can disappear fast.

In fact, last year was one of M&S’s best Christmases on record, with food sales increasing 6.6% year-on-year. At its peak, 1.2 fresh turkeys were sold every second, and seafood also proved a runaway hit; with the team already teasing festive M&S items this year, the trend looks set to continue.

That said, we're still waiting, with bated breath, to see exactly what might hit the UK's festive dinner tables, but while we wait for the new 2026 M&S Christmas food to order range, let's have a little look back at the highlights of last year. Think turkey Wellington, duck liver parfait, and a whole host of other delicious things made in collaboration with Michelin-starred chef Tom Kerridge. There was also premium caviar, premium baked French brie and cuts of Wagyu beef for an extra hit of luxury.

Beyond the Food to Order range, M&S also unveiled new in-store exclusives like collectable biscuit tins, sharing boxes and cherry-stuffed panettone. Meanwhile, the ever-popular party food range returned to shelves from 12 November, bringing with it all the snackable bite-sized treats you need for festive gatherings.

Must-know M&S Christmas dates and details for 2026

As die-hard M&S fans, we've been paying close attention to all things M&S Christmas for 2026. Here’s a round-up of the key dates, details and everything we know so far.

When can I order M&S Christmas food 2026?

While pre-order slots haven't been released just yet, last year's opened on 23 September, allowing shoppers to book a collection date and time between 22-24 December 2025. Given the trends over the years, it wouldn't be silly to expect slots to open up to one week earlier, perhaps around 16 September 2026?

When will M&S Christmas food be available in store?

Selected products and goodies in the 2026 Christmas range will likely start to appear in stores around the end of September, with more items to follow in the following months. In 2025, the full M&S Christmas party food range was available in store from 12 November - the earliest date in history.

Will the cyber-attack affect M&S Christmas food orders?

The major cyber-attack of 2025 put a pause on orders and saw the supermarket extend delivery times to account for the disruption. Given the Christmas orders went ahead without issue, things are expected to run smoothly for this Christmas as well.

How much does it cost to pre-order and collect the Christmas Food to Order range?

The Christmas Food to Order range is available across most UK M&S stores and is completely free to collect. That said, anyone wanting to pre-order their festive meal had to put up a £50 deposit before paying the outstanding balance when collecting the items in store last year. This year should be much the same.

Can I order the 2026 M&S Christmas range on Ocado?

You can usually order your M&S Christmas food delivery through Ocado, and pick and choose the best of the seasonal range. As soon as it's available on Ocado, we'll let you know!

Free Range Pembrokeshire Heritage Blue Whole Turkey

Whole roast turkey by M&S

This Heritage Blue turkey has spent its life roaming free on Welsh pastures, given the time and space to grow slowly so that the meat picks up a fuller, slightly sweet flavour and a more marbled texture. That extra growing room also meant the skin was more robust, so crisped up nicely when roasted.

British Turkey & Stuffing Wellington by Tom

M&S Christmas 2025 turkey wellington

If there’s one thing we know about Tom Kerridge, it’s that he loves a proper Welly. Last year, he brought three in total to M&S shelves, and though beef is the traditional option, turkey lovers certainly didn't miss out. This one featured tender, slow-cooked turkey breast with pork, apple, chestnut and cranberry stuffing all encased in pulled turkey thigh and wrapped up in buttery puff pastry. Topped off with pork crackling and served with a turkey and thyme gravy? Now that's a showstopper.

Lemon & Mascarpone Panettone Gateau

M&S panettone cake with lemon mascarpone

Transforming a favourite festive treat into a big and beautiful dessert, this panettone came layered with mascarpone cream and lemon curd, all piled high with white chocolate curls. Christmas Cracker Colin the Caterpillar™

Colin the Caterpillar Christmas cake

It wouldn’t be M&S without Colin. Last year, we saw Colin emerge from his box dressed up as a Christmas cracker with extra-thick slabs of white chocolate, sprinkles and a little paper crown. But we wouldn’t recommend trying to pull this particular Christmas cracker.
