To brunch in Soho is a rite of passage for most Londoners - this is the spiritual, cultural centre of the capital in many ways, and many thousands of us flock to the busy streets of Soho on a weekend to find something to eat.
As a result, there are ample brunching opportunities here, but are they all good? No they are not. That’s where we come in, with a guide to make sure that you find your way to one of Soho’s best brunch spots.
In truth, there’s a bit of overlap between this and our guide to the best breakfasts in Soho. After all, what defines brunch? Is it the time of day? The style of food? Perhaps a bit of both? For us, it’s really about the vibe - good brunch restaurants should have a nice mix of breakfast and brunch fare. There should be the potential to have a casual catch up over coffee and eggs, but with the chance to spontaneously order margaritas if things escalate. Some of our best Soho brunches are technically breakfast menus, but when they’re served right up to noon and beyond, we think they still count for a good brunch, and we couldn’t have lived with ourselves if we didn’t share them with you.
If you’re lining up a big brunch adventure in Soho and you’re not quite sure where to start your search, just keep scrolling and read about some of our favourite brunch spots. We’ve picked out something for every cuisine and budget, so whether you’re craving an eggs benedict or you’re planning a wild bottomless party, we’ve got the perfect place for you.
