About

Brother Marcus in Soho showcases the flavours of the Eastern Mediterranean with an all-day menu full of colour, fragrance and authentic tradition. Founded by Tasos Gaitanos and Alex Large, the restaurant draws on Tasos’s Cretan and Cypriot heritage to create food that feels both modern and deeply rooted in the Greek way of eating - generous, vibrant and designed to share.

Located on Poland Street, Brother Marcus Soho brings together beautiful, richly flavoured Eastern Mediterranean food and relaxed hospitality, making it a standout for all-day dining in central London. Like Brother Marcus’ other sites, the interior is simple yet stylish, with terracotta tones, leafy plants and natural textures that give the space a warm and relaxed feel. It works as well for a casual brunch with friends as it does for birthdays, dates or family gatherings.

Brunch is a signature part of Brother Marcus. Expect dishes that are both nourishing and satisfying, such as smashed avocado with beetroot and hummus on sourdough toast, harissa eggs, sweet potato fritters and smoky shakshuka. Pastries, pittas and freshly brewed coffee complete the offering, while cocktails like the Honey Bellini or Brother Mary bring a celebratory touch.

At lunch and dinner, the menu expands into a colourful spread of mezze and larger plates. Greek salad, pan-fried halloumi, baked beetroot and aubergine skewers sit alongside rip-and-dip platters of pita with tzatziki, baba ghanoush and taramasalata.

Evenings feel lively and convivial, with a pre-show menu for theatre-goers and a dessert list that includes kataifi cheesecake, peach and olive oil cake and a baklava sandwich with pistachio ice cream. Drinks range from natural wines and spritzes to signature cocktails like the Marcus Negroni and Greek Paloma, plus a creative non-alcoholic list.
