SquareMeal Review of
Clean-lined, spacious and decidedly modern-chic, this casual sibling of high-flying L’Anima sits just around the corner from its more grown-up sibling. It’s the perfect pit stop for breakfast, a daytime snack, lunch or a light supper, with the bonus of watching the City go by through its big glass windows. You can pop in for an early pick-me-up or grab a bite to go from the adjoining deli (a sandwich or salad, say). After work, the office brigade packs the impressive 360-degree bar, while the lucky few kick back on leather sofas with plates of calamari fritti, spatchcock baby chicken with lemon and chilli or grilled salmon with celeriac mash and salsa verde – plus pizzas and pasta. Service is swift and prices are reasonable – and you can stock up on provisions from the L’Anima shop, if you’re in the mood for cooking.
