SquareMeal Review of Khana

Forget about the decor & the location, this Cricklewood Broadway Indian serves a mean curry. Creamy butter chicken is rightly one the kitchen’s specialities, likewise king prawns cooked in a mild blend of yoghurt, coconut milk, herbs & spices, although there’s plenty to keep the diehards happy – the tandooris & biryanis are particularly noteworthy. Adventurous veggies, meanwhile, might fancy the house special of mushroom chilli or Khana corn, which offer something a bit different to regular meatless offerings. Sweet & salted lassis are spot-on, while Kingfisher & Cobra hit the spot for beer drinkers. A sound choice if you’re in the area, although probably not special enough for a trek out to NW2.
