SquareMeal Review of Feng Sushi Notting Hill Gate

Foodie snobs might turn their noses up at chain restaurants but they’d be missing out with Feng Sushi, a low-key group that’s respectful of the seasons and sustainability without being dogmatic. So you can have an order of ‘X-ray’ salad with pomegranates and avocado with your Loch Duart salmon sashimi, or pine nut and soba salad with your Japanese ‘fish and chips’. And if you fancy your chirashi sushi on brown rice, that’s not a problem. Everything’s available to go, with plenty of sushi and sashimi boxes to choose from – plus alcoholic support from Japanese beer and saké. Desserts are typically restrained – black sesame ice cream, perhaps, or chocolate mochi.

excellent sushi & good value for money. prefer to take-away as the upstairs dining area is very small, but Feng Sushi is miles better than Itsu just across the road , will choose Feng every time.

less is more : I have ben a client for two years , the portion are getting smaller and smaller , one tiger prawn in a box of around 18 pounds ! they started with 3 :only one is left but the price did not go down ! LOL Even if you report your complain , you get an arrogant kind of answer ! The new phone system with free publicity is not a big idea , it only cost more to order ! be carefull if you want to get it rid of your bag, they put your phone number on the bill , i had to pay a 120 pounds fine ! I asked to cancel all my records , the best thing i could do as complains are not taken care off , stronger they even admit that customers think they are very inflexible !
