Given Azzari Too’s suburban location, it’s surprising to find such extravagant interiors featuring huge ornate mirrors on dark grey walls and elaborate chandeliers. But this is a great
neighbourhood restaurant, and the menu is just as appealing as the decor with global dishes such as Thai beef, jerk chicken, chicken schnitzel or sausage and mash, all reassuringly full-flavoured.
Elsewhere, there’s tiger king prawns, perhaps offered with garlic butter or Thai red curry, or a generous, delicious pumpkin risotto with wild mushrooms, fennel and green beans. The same high
standard carries through to dessert, which includes a fab chocolate creme brulee with a shot of espresso on the side.
