Located in the heart of Clerkenwell, Vinoteca Farringdon provides locals and individuals working nearby with a comfortable spot in which to enjoy a glass of wine and a tasty plate of food on weekday lunchtimes and evenings. And there’s more – tucked away downstairs is an intimate private dining room that’s available for all manner of private events.
From working lunches to meetings, private parties and wine tastings, the private room at Vinoteca Farringdon is a great shout. Fully equipped with Wifi, a projector and screen, and the option to play your own music, it’s ideal for businesses looking to present somewhere off-site or to brainstorm somewhere inspiring (where there also happens to be great food and drink on offer).
The private room is also perfectly-suited to celebratory meals, such as birthdays and retirement parties as there are a variety of configurations available. For meetings and intimate private lunches and dinners, Vinoteca Farringdon can provide a single table seating for up to 20 guests (boardroom style), while for larger gatherings, the team can provide three separate tables that seat up to 30. For informal receptions, the tables can be moved to allow space for up to 40 people to stand comfortably.
Vinoteca is known for its simple British and European food, which is made using ingredients from trusted suppliers and producers. There are two seasonally-inspired menus to choose from: the seasonal daily menu and the slightly more expensive seasonal chef’s menu. Both offer three courses with a number of options for each, so the one you go for just comes down to your budget and tastes.
Menus change according to what’s in season, but the kinds of dishes guests can look forward to include the likes of Galician octopus with chickpeas, crispy mushrooms and rosemary oil; tagliolini with black truffle cream and crispy Parmesan; and orange semifreddo with crumbled honeycomb. Obviously wine is Vinoteca’s speciality so whether you’re an oenophile with a clear idea of what you want or if you’d prefer to leave it to the experts, you can be sure of a range of seasonal wines that pair perfectly with your menu.
