Set inside an 11-acre estate in central London, The Honorable Society of Lincoln’s Inn is a beautiful historic venue with a huge array of private spaces available to hire. Plus, with a history steeped in fine dining, from intimate lunches to exquisite banquets, Lincoln’s Inn certainly knows a thing or two about what it takes to host a fantastic meal. Choose from a range of stunning event spaces able to host up to 250 people for a seated event.
For galas, ceremonies and private banquets, look no further than the Great Hall, which is the Inn’s largest space with a capacity of up to 250 people. The room features a number of Victorian details including an oak vaulted ceiling, grand portraits on the walls and stained-glass windows, as well as 11-foot carved wooden doors to welcome your guests. The Great Hall can be hired for lunch or dinner, and can also be connected to the Bench Rooms and East Terrace, to be used for a pre-dinner drinks reception, perhaps.
The Old Hall is a slightly smaller, but just as grand, space for up to 120 people that dates back to 1490. The Tudor paneled hall with stone tiled flooring and exposed beams is sure to transport guests back in time while they dine. Hire of the Old Hall includes use of the Crypt, which is suitable for registration purposes, breakout areas or receptions.
Food and drink are provided in-house by a talented catering team, who are able to create seasonal, fine dining menus suited specifically to your preferences. Think gnocchi with curried cauliflower velouté, charred tender stem broccoli and smoked almonds, and lamp rump with braised shoulder, truffle potato, spring pea and sweetcorn puree. Drinks packages are also available: choose from an extensive wine list, or bring your own for a corkage charge.
